I work with a firm that can get in front of hundreds of CPAs with only a few days’ notice. Last week we used Roth IRA Conversions. The results were stunning!

An ad for a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) course titled: ROTH IRA Conversions STOP! Why Conventional Wisdom Mostly Gets It Wrong! was offered to a huge database of CPAs, and I’m not kidding when I say 744 signed up within 72 hours. 420 showed up for the live event.

The CPE webinar was VERY well received. See the stats on a scale of 1-5:

CPAs Want Help First with Their Own Situation

Attendees were asked if they would like a one-hour call with the presenter (me).

113 attendees (25% of those who showed up live) said yes. We’ve booked four calls so far, and they are about the CPA’s situation, not a client (which is a great way to build trust).

The four CPAs have $20 million in investments and over $6 million in tax-deferred assets.

Of course, I can’t fit in 113 individual one-hour calls, so advisors I work with will have to field most of those calls.

233 of the live attendees said they give advice to clients on income and retirement planning!

Beware of Bait and Switch Roth IRA Conversion Marketing

The #1 marketing campaign you should avoid today pitches “bonus annuities” to “pay the tax on a conversion.” This concept is a mathematical loser, but IMOs and marketing firms continue to use it on Facebook and other online lead platforms. Don’t ruin your reputation by using this type of marketing, and certainly don’t use bonus FIAs in Roth conversions.
