Artificial Intelligence (AI) isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a tool you can use right now to improve your marketing and client communication. Think of AI as a free assistant to help you:

– Draft e-newsletters in a matter of minutes
– Polish emails (make you sound more professional in your daily communications)
– Create brochures (both content and graphics)
– Create content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Most advisors want to connect with their clients more but lack the time, content, or even desire to do so. AI can be the solution to these problems.

Example Marketing Roth IRA Conversions for Lead Gen

Type the following into the AI prompt: I want to market the OnPointe Roth Conversion lead gen tool. Create 20 options for content I can post on Facebook that would motivate someone who is interested to click on a link to run their own Roth Conversion numbers using an app.

Answer: Perfect — here are 20 Facebook post options you could drop straight into your campaign to market the OnPointe Roth Conversion Lead Gen Tool. Each one is written to spark curiosity, address pain points, and encourage clicks without being salesy. They vary in tone so you can test what resonates:

The following is the one I felt was the best of the 20 options:

And you don’t have to use exactly what AI gives you. I tweaked the top AI option to read as follows: Most Roth IRA Conversion Advice is Inaccurate and/or Biased. Run your own numbers in minutes and see the difference.

Next Level—you can take it a step further and ask AI to help generate a supporting image for our post. I’m going to use the Roth Sherpa brand for our image, but you can provide your company’s colors or a specific background you would like for it to use for the image.

Type the following into the AI prompt: Generate an image I can also post on Facebook for my Roth conversion lead gen widget. Add supporting text that relates back to the consequences of bad Roth conversion advice. Also use my Roth Sherpa image with mountains and a sunset.

But that’s only the first half. What needs to happen after someone takes our Roth conversion widget? We need an email to follow up with them and try to set up a call.

Type the following into the AI prompt: Write a follow-up email I can send to a consumer who tries the Roth conversion widget thanking them and asking if they would like to schedule a call to review their results.

Answer: Hi [First Name],

Thanks for taking the time to run your Roth conversion numbers with our tool. Having clarity on how Roth conversions might impact your retirement is an important step toward making informed decisions.

If you’d like, I’d be happy to schedule a call to review your results together. On the call we can:

– Walk through what your numbers mean
– Answer any questions you may have about the results

With AI, we have our Facebook posting caption (and 19 other options for future postings), a supporting image, and a follow-up email to reengage with the consumer, all within the amount of time it would’ve taken to make a cup of coffee.
